Starting an Engagement Program

As part of customizable member benefits, AAMFT members have the option to join engagement programs that are oriented either geographically or topically, with focus on clinical issues, models of therapy, types of practice, and/or environments of practice. These benefits both enhance your membership and the greater profession, and they are designed by members for members (with AAMFT support).

Each spring, applications for new engagement programs are considered by the Component Evaluation Committee for future development. If members are interested in exploring starting a program that isn't currently offered, especially if you would like to help be a part of forming a program, contact staff.
