Culturally Adapted Parent Intervention for Latinos/as

Lappan Ethnic minorities are exposed to intense mental health disparities. This workshop will present findings from a 4-year NIMH-funded study focused on the cultural adaptation of an evidence-based parenting intervention for Latino Immigrants. Participants will also be exposed to the core components of the adapted intervention and will discuss how cultural adaptation can reduce health disparities in research and clinical practice.
